Welcome. Here you will find expressions of my love for Asian art. There are ink and watercolour paintings in both black and white, and colour. There are also tabletop sculptures created from wood and Japanese washi paper. To go directly to the paintings please scroll past the sculptures.
The sculptures have been inspired by the beautiful temples throughout Asia, particularly in Japan and China. Some of the sculptures light up and can be used as lamps and night lights, others incorporate clocks. Most of the sculptures are approx. 30 inches in height.
The paintings are on a special type of paper known as Terraskin, which is a very sturdy, strong heavy paper made largely from stone. It provides a unique surface that allows certain flowing affects using ink or watercolour. It can be mounted in the same ways any other paper works are mounted or can be simply pinned to a wall. I have also created a unique mounting system for those desiring something different.
To see videos of the sculptures please scroll past the paintings.
